What do you do when you’re on a trajectory that’s headed in the wrong direction? Or rather, in a direction that you intended to go but later changed your mind?
I’m on a path towards a career. However, that’s not where I want to be going. The work it requires is taking over and squeezing the life out of my health and my relationships. I want to get off this path, but there’s so much invested that I have no choice but to keep going for another year.
I refuse to let it kill me. I will not die to myself for a career. Only God is worthy of that. I will die to my sinful desires. I will die to my propensity to work too hard. I will die to the mold others want to place me in. I will live in Christ alone. Will you?
